Background: Captain Jack is a Eurodance band founded by German music producer Udo Niebergall. The band was most successful in Europe and Japan, having sold more than 7 million album copies. So far they have 13 albums out and won 19 gold and platinum awards. The self-titled song Captain Jack was their first single and breakthrough hit in many countries.

Trivia: In this song, "Captain Jack" is the singer Cpt. Durban. He left the band before the first album came out.Since then, Franky Gee impersonated Captain Jack but he sadly died in 2005. Today, Bruce Lacy is singer and rapper for Captain Jack.

My two cents: Believe it or not, this is a big part of my childhood. Sad but true :) I'm not a fan of military stuff and the music is... hmm. But when seeing the music video I somehow like it. Do you find the reason for that? Haha, just joking. Actually, the song is quite good, good produced and one of the most successful Eurodance acts out there.
